Do all my roommates need to pay?
No. Only one person needs a paid account. Everyone else joins for free as guests: they can view shared expenses, balances, and track their own personal expenses while part of the group. If you stop paying the subscription and they want to keep using all premium features, they'll need their own subscription.
What happens if someone moves out?
You can see the final balance, settle up, and remove them from the group. The history is preserved.
Can I see the history from previous months?
Yes. Everything is recorded. You can check expenses from any month.
Does it work if I also have personal expenses?
Perfect. You can track your personal expenses and shared ones in the same app, separately.
