Frequently asked questions
Does everyone need to pay for the app?
No. Only the group creator needs a paid account. Everyone else joins for free as guests: they can view shared expenses, balances, and track their own personal expenses while part of the group. If the group stops paying and they want to keep using all premium features, they'll need their own subscription.
How does settlement work?
The app automatically calculates the minimum payments needed. Instead of 20 cross-payments, you might only need 3 or 4.
Can I exclude someone from an expense?
Yes. If a dinner was paid by 4 out of 6 people, you can exclude the other 2 from that specific expense.
Can I use the app while traveling abroad?
Yes. The app supports 30+ currencies with automatic conversion, so you can track expenses in any currency during your trip.
